although not quite time-wise ready to dive into this whole blog thing, i have have have HAVE to post something for 2 reasons. one, it’s the first day of spring people!!! (must. disregard. dirty snow outside. see also: someone else please dig out my car?) and two, BABY FRESEN HAS ARRIVED! this is like, my first best friend baby ever. it’s very VERY exciting. i haven’t held a baby since… umm… a long time? but I’M READY. let’s do this.
and let’s do this blog. i have funny things to say and photos to show.
disclaimer: i’m an engineer. i have horrible grammar. i don’t like to capitalize things unless it’s IMPORTANT. stretching my pinky way off to the side to hit the shift key is just plain silly. be thankful that i use periods and the space bar. dead serious.
also, i just starting getting into cooking. yes, i’m 30 (something). take out lunch and dinner were a daily habit. although i’m not sure using a slow-cooker is cooking, but i’ll take it. BABY STEPS. oddly enough i’m obsessed with baking scones, which i’m pretty sure is the most pain in the (beep) pastry to make.
i’ve also recently started to explore the world of DIY. that’d be do-it-yourself (fyi mom). you know, saving money. another thing i’m all of a sudden obsessed with. i seriously just bought an eyeliner for $1. that’s insane. it’s more insane that i love it. more on that later.
